“The Cross appeared to me in a dream.  The dream occurred on my Brother Jack’s birthday, November 26, 1994.  At the time of the appearance he had been deceased eight years.  Jack was just 21 years old when he was hit and killed by a drunk driver.  The Cross appeared on the day of Jack’s birth, not his death.  Therefore I see it as a sign of Hope, not despair.”

Each part of the Cross is representative of my faith in God, and of His Grace through Jesus Christ:

The Cross – A symbol that preserves the fundamental belief of Christianity: Jesus suffered and died on the Cross for our sins, and was raised from the dead.

The Multiple Colors – Represents God’s love for all of his children.

Bleeding Heart – Represents Jesus as he shows His love by enduring pain and suffering for our sins.

The Light – Represents hope that will always shine brightly, even in the depths of darkness.
With the light of Hope; we endure pain and suffering; so that we may grow in our Love and understanding that . . 
                                                              We are all God’s Children.

Thanks Be to God . . .
God’s Love – This is how God showed his love to us:  He sent his only Son into the world so that we could have life through him.  This is what real love is: it is not our love for God: it is God’s love for us in sending his Son to be the way to take away our sins. I John 4:9-10
Glory of God – His glory covers the skies, and his praise fills the earth.  He is like a bright light.  Rays of light shine from his hand, and there he hides his power.  Habakkuk 3:3-4
Heart – God does not see the same way people see.  People look at the outside of a person, but the lord looks at the heart.  I Samuel 16:7
Hope – I pray that the God who gives hope will fill you with much joy and peace while you trust in him.  Then your hope will overflow by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13
Love all People – Christ never thinks some people are more important than others – “Love your neighbor as you love yourself”. James 2:8
Pure – Turn your face from my sins and wipe out all my guilt.  Create in me a pure heart, God and make my spirit right again.  Psalm 51:9-10
Suffering – Do not be surprised at the terrible trouble which now comes to test you.  Do not think that something strange is happening to you.  But be happy that you are sharing in Christ’s suffering so that you will be happy and full of joy when Christ comes again in glory.  I Peter 4:12-13 . . .
Through Jesus Christ, forever and ever.  Amen.
